Healthcare permissions can be difficult to understand. myBioX is being designed to make them clearer.
Your Permission Center will help you see:
What information you have authorized myBioX to receive or share
Who may access that information
Why the information may be used
How long your permission remains in effect
Which choices are required for a particular service and which are optional
When you provided, updated, or withdrew a permission
The goal is simple: you should be able to understand your choices without having to interpret complicated legal or technical language.
You Decide How Your Information May Be Used
Your permissions will be presented as separate choices whenever possible. You will not be asked to agree to every use of your information through one all-or-nothing selection.
Connect My Health Information
This core authorization allows myBioX to receive, organize, and share relevant health information with the healthcare providers, laboratories, and other organizations identified in your authorization.
This helps support coordinated services and gives authorized members of your care team access to the information they need for the purposes you approve.
Help Advance Research and Health Technology
This optional choice allows you to decide whether your information may be used for approved research, analytics, healthcare technology development, or commercial development—including the development and improvement of artificial intelligence tools.
Before you decide, you will be shown what types of information may be used, whether the information may identify you, the permitted purposes, and any applicable restrictions or terms.
Tell Me About Future BioConnetiX Opportunities
This optional choice allows BioConnetiX or myBioX to contact you about future BioConnetiX programs or research opportunities that may be relevant based on information in your health profile.
Choosing “yes” only means that we may contact you. It does not enroll you in a study or require you to participate.

This separate, optional choice allows myBioX to share your contact information with approved participating providers, research organizations, or study sponsors when an available research opportunity may be relevant to you.
A study team may provide more information, but you will always decide whether you want to respond, learn more, or participate.
Your Choices Stay Yours
You can review and change your myBioX permission choices at any time.
Choices identified as optional will not affect your ability to receive care or BioConnetiX Clinical Pathway services. If a particular authorization is needed to operate myBioX or coordinate a requested service, we will clearly identify it before you decide.
Withdrawing a permission generally applies to future activity. It may not reverse information uses or disclosures that were already completed based on a permission you previously provided or uses otherwise permitted or required by law.
myBioX will maintain a time-stamped record of your choices so you can see when a permission was provided, changed, or withdrawn.

Research Participation Is Always a Separate Decision
Giving BioConnetiX permission to contact you about research does not enroll you in a clinical trial or research study.
If you are invited to consider a specific study, you will receive separate information explaining:
The purpose of the study
What participation would involve
Potential risks and benefits
How your information would be used
Who would conduct or sponsor the study
Whether compensation or reimbursement is offered
Your right to decline or withdraw
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and complete any required study-specific consent before participating.
